6D laser Schwind Amaris 750s in Gemini in Prague

 At the end of July 2011, Gemini in Prague-Pruhonice installed another 6D laser Schwind Amaris 750S. It is currently the fastest, most precise and safest laser for laser eye corrections of refractive errors in the world and Gemini Eye Clinic is the first eye clinic in the Czech Republic to own this laser. Gemini owns already two of them.

Highest speed: The pulse rate of Amaris 750 is 750 Hz, ie. 750 laser points / a second on the eye surface. Thus 1 diopter is corrected in only a second and a half.

Highest precision: 6D eye tracker compensates all the eye movements including the rotations and rolling movements during the performance. That is why the precision of the laser is very high and it thus creates a high-quality optics of the eye.

Highest safety: In the course of the performance, the corneal thickness is being monitored by the sc. online pachymetry. In the Czech Republic only Amaris 750 has this ability.
