New Crystal Line femtosecond laser

 Since Wednesday, 7th December 2011, Gemini Eye Clinic uses a new Ziemer Crystal Line LDV femtosecond laser. Crystal Line is the fastest and most gentle laser for laser eye surgeries available. Thanks to its precise laser technology, thus the highest possible quality of the vision is obtained. The vision improvement is achieved immediately after the surgery, very often during the first few hours after the surgery.
Gemini Eye Clinic is the only eye clinic in the Czech Republic using Crystal Line femtosecond laser. In the newest laser eye corrections there are two lasers used during the surgery.
First, a thin layer of cornea called flap or lamella is created by the Crystal Line femtosecond laser at the first part of the surgery. The flap ensures painlessness and transparency of the eye after the surgery. In the second part of the surgery, another laser changes the optics of the eye so that the vision achieves the highest possible quality. At Gemini we use a sc. 6D laser, which compensates all the eye movements throughout the surgery. Gemini Eye Clinic is the only eye clinic in the Czech Republic to use 6D lasers Amaris 750 for laser eye corrections.
