STANDARD

STANDARD refers to the basic type of intraocular lens. After the surgery the patient has correct vision for one distance only – usually we select the lens so that the eye has good distance vision. The patient needs glasses for near vision. The lens has a UV filter integrated. This lens is free of charge for patients insured with contractual health insurance companies.

GOLD

GOLD is a superior monofocal intraocular lens utilizing so-called aspheric optics. Similarly as in high-quality cameras, it provides a better image and improves recognition of details. The lens also improves night vision, which is important in particular for drivers. In addition to a UV filter the lens has a blue light blocking filter to protect the retina.

MULTI (multifocal lens)

Bifocal lens

enables everyday life without glasses; however, vision in the middle distance (typically at the computer or dashboard instruments) is usually not sufficiently clear.

Trifocal lens

enables everyday life without glasses – reading, computer, TV, dashboard instruments, driving. It takes some time to become used to vision with trifocal lenses. A trifocal lens is the best solution offered globally in this area. In addition to a UV filter the lens has a blue light blocking filter to protect the retina.

The STANDARD-type intraocular lenses are available at an extra charge – see the Pricelist.
