The European top rally drivers met in Zlín to compete in an event belonging to the European championships series. The rally which is extremely favorite with its visitors and with the traditional attendance of thousands of them was also attended by the Gemini Eye Clinic in Zlín. The professional Gemini Rally Team with the crew of J. Černý and P. Černohorský ranked in the top ten in spite of the initial complications such as a lost wheel during a town rally stage, and a flat tire during the second day of the rally.
The Barum Czech Rally is a rally specific not only for its unique atmosphere, which according to competing crews themselves is unrepeatable and not to be experienced anywhere else but also for its accompanying program. Dr. Stodůlka took part in one of them – the Green Rally, a rally designated for electric cars and hybrid vehicles – with his Tesla electric car.
Some of the employers of the clinic did not miss the track of the super special stage in the streets of the town of Zlín in the bike rally called Zlín Bikes.
The Gemini Eye Clinic was present also in the technical zones where we measured and assessed the eyes of the Barum fans as well as drivers.
