Nina Kainz had originally come to undergo a laser eye surgery, but the pre-operative examination in Vienna showed that in her case this method for diopter removal was not suitable. The ideal solution was the implantation of the intraocular lens. Dr. Stodůlka, who treats all our patients, only performs in Zlín. A phakic intraocular lens was chosen into Nina´s eye, an artificial lens, which is inserted in front of the patient’s biological lens.
Dr. Stodůlka was operating on Nina in mid-April 2018 – exactly a year ago. She remembered Gemini now and sent us pictures of this year’s scuba diving.
